We Make Mistakes, We Are Not Mistakes.

Sometimes we all feel like we're not special, we're not needed, and like no-one really cares about us. Now a days, that seems like one of Satan's favorite lies to tell, and I know he's tried it more than once on me, and and some friends of mine... I'm sure he's tried it on everyone at one time!
Sometimes, I feel as big as a grain of sand. Like I don't matter, like no-one hears me, or cares to hear me. Like everyone just pretends to be my friend, and like I'm not forgiven of past sin and I can't do anything right... But none of that is true. For anyone. We were all put here for a reason, And God loves us. Always.
And in a lot of the different books of the bible it proves it. In Genesis, where God made the first humans and the rest of the world.... In Luke, where God gave his only son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross to forgive us for out sins, and in Revelation where Jesus told us he would return someday. Some other books of the bible I like to turn to when I'm upset are Psalms, and Isaiah.
God loves us... He truly does. Satan will lie to you again and again telling you that you're worthless... That no one loves you. That you're never going to get anything right, and that the world would be better off with out you because you are just one big mistake. But that is not true at all. It is all lies. Everyone was put here for a reason. Everyone has a purpose, and we're all going to make mistakes... And we can learn from them.
When your feeling down and depressed, pray, and ask someone you know and trust to pray for you too. Never hurt yourself. Death, drugs or pain is not the answer, and never will be.
Maybe you are saying, "But, I have been praying, but nothing is happening!" Well, sometimes it takes time. God always has a reason and plan for everything. One thing I learned is that God let's us go through stuff because we may be able to help others who go through the same things, only they don't know the truth... Or maybe they did, but needed to be reminded of it.... To be reminded Jesus does love them, that they are beautiful creations of God, that they can do things right, and that they are in fact not a mistake.

Broken Heart?

First off I'd like to apologize for not posting in so long. I've been busy with new responsibilities, church, and dance. Plus I have been distracted with some of my hobbies, and other things that have been going on my life.

But I hope you are enjoying the posts, and please remember it's all for the glory of God. Thank you, and God Bless you!

Have you ever had your heart broken? By a boyfriend, or a girlfriend? Maybe a close friend or family member?
Almost everyone's heart will be broken at one time, but healing always comes.
Just recently I was hurt, and someone close to me told me something very helpful, "If you forgive them, you'll start to heal..." They went on to say that when you're forgiving them, it's not just for them, it's also for you. Because once your free of your anger, or sadness with that person, it's harder for them to hurt you... Now I'm not saying just because you forgive them they will just stop being a jerk, or mean to you, I'm saying that if you forgive them, the hurt of what they've done will go away easier. Not necessarily over night, these things can take time sometimes, But if you truly forgive them, pray, and trust that God will help you, You will start to feel better and completely heal. Another thing that is always helpful (No matter how hard it is too) is to pray for the person who hurt you. And I'm not talking about that new country song called "Pray For You" By Jaron and the Long Road to Love.... You shouldn't pray for bad things to happen to that person... No matter how tempting it may be, it's not what God wants.

Another thing I learned in my youth group is, not only is it good to love others no matter how mean, nasty, and rude they are to you, it's also kinda fun. I mean... I personally love freaking people out, and just think of how weirded out one of your bullies or someone who hurt you emotionally would be if you walked up to them, gave them a big smile and said, "I love you, because Jesus loves you." And it would all be for the glory of our amazing and very awesome God!

((And if someone is hurting you physically, you need to seek help from your parents, guardian, youth pastor, or an adult that is somehow close to you who can help you.))

Bandaids, Fire, Water, Love and Hate

"Bandaids are not just for when your bleading they can be for minor sores and trouble, Sometimes the small things not only hurt a little worse, but double. So take a bandaid and put it on your wound, Jesus, our never ending bandaid will make it better soon."

This poem is very true. Little things can hurt very bad... And it's the little things that tend to hang on, and bother you for a long time.
This world now a days is full of hurt, and hateful people. And because of the hurt and hate, there's a lot of people falling from God, and giving up on life... What we need to show them is that no matter how poorly anyone else may treat them, Jesus is always there, (even when it doesn't seem like it) wanting to take them in his loving arms and never let them go, and protect them. And that we, as Christians, (their siblings in Christ) are not going to reject them, or be cruel to them. We are there to love them, not hate.
We are also there to love the ones that hate us, and others. You can not fight hate with hate, just like you can't fight fire with fire... You only cause more fire. But what happens when you fight fire with water? Water wins. So what happens when you fight hate with love? Love wins.
Love will always win, because it never gives up. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it says; "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres"

Remember, God is all of these things, because God is love.... So let's stop the madness, sadness and hate and start the happiness and love!
