Broken Heart?

First off I'd like to apologize for not posting in so long. I've been busy with new responsibilities, church, and dance. Plus I have been distracted with some of my hobbies, and other things that have been going on my life.

But I hope you are enjoying the posts, and please remember it's all for the glory of God. Thank you, and God Bless you!

Have you ever had your heart broken? By a boyfriend, or a girlfriend? Maybe a close friend or family member?
Almost everyone's heart will be broken at one time, but healing always comes.
Just recently I was hurt, and someone close to me told me something very helpful, "If you forgive them, you'll start to heal..." They went on to say that when you're forgiving them, it's not just for them, it's also for you. Because once your free of your anger, or sadness with that person, it's harder for them to hurt you... Now I'm not saying just because you forgive them they will just stop being a jerk, or mean to you, I'm saying that if you forgive them, the hurt of what they've done will go away easier. Not necessarily over night, these things can take time sometimes, But if you truly forgive them, pray, and trust that God will help you, You will start to feel better and completely heal. Another thing that is always helpful (No matter how hard it is too) is to pray for the person who hurt you. And I'm not talking about that new country song called "Pray For You" By Jaron and the Long Road to Love.... You shouldn't pray for bad things to happen to that person... No matter how tempting it may be, it's not what God wants.

Another thing I learned in my youth group is, not only is it good to love others no matter how mean, nasty, and rude they are to you, it's also kinda fun. I mean... I personally love freaking people out, and just think of how weirded out one of your bullies or someone who hurt you emotionally would be if you walked up to them, gave them a big smile and said, "I love you, because Jesus loves you." And it would all be for the glory of our amazing and very awesome God!

((And if someone is hurting you physically, you need to seek help from your parents, guardian, youth pastor, or an adult that is somehow close to you who can help you.))
